THE CHALLENGE
In a fast-paced world, change is the only constant. Businesses that don't keep up risk falling behind. Still, few businesses possess the vision needed to discover and develop transformational products and services. Formerly “Paper Ventures”, I partnered with this corporate innovation firm to develop an updated name and brand that accurately reflected the team’s unique approach and philosophy.
THE SOLUTION
Our engagement began with a brand listening/discovery session. In order to build a truly unique consulting brand, I needed to learn about the company’s experiences, interests, challenges, and more. Who were they trying to reach? What were they trying to solve? What made them unique? After compiling an extensive document of relevant information, I got to work. In under one month, I followed a proprietary brand naming process to deliver a handful of name options (checked with USPTO and paired with available domains) for the team’s consideration. I then worked alongside the team to guide them through the review process, helping them consider every angle and hone in on the ideal name: Stepwise Innovation.
THE OUTCOME
As a result of our work together, the Stepwise team now has a name as meaningful as the work they do. A name that signals action and intentionality. A name that reflects an iterative, collaborative process with plenty of touch points along the way. A name that brings confidence to stakeholders. A name that stands for forward progress without risk. Now, corporate innovation and training goes hand in hand with “Stepwise”.
