Meet the Founder
Who you’ll be working with
Jon Savitt
Our FounderJon Savitt is the founder of Campfire Creative, a brand strategist and writer with more than 15 years of experience across advertising, media, PR, and entertainment.
He’s helped startups, founders, public figures, and growth-stage companies clarify their positioning, sharpen their messaging, and build brands that create measurable momentum. Jon has directly helped clients raise over $100M in collective capital by strengthening the strategy, story, and content behind their businesses.
Prior to launching Campfire, Jon served as Creative Director at PUNCH — a full-service, award-winning agency in Washington DC — leading brand and creative strategy for national clients.
Today, Jon’s client roster includes brands of all sizes and industries. He’s worked with Dollar Shave Club, Hinge, DIRECTV, the Minnesota Timberwolves, SAP, Kimpton Hotels, Goldman Sachs, Inc. 500 companies, and Fortune 50 executives. His work has appeared in The New York Times, ESPN, NBC News, TIME, Funny or Die, Adweek, Washington Post, Morning Brew, USA Today, Forbes, and more. He’s also an AdFed Gold ADDY award winner.
Jon has also built a career as a professional comedy writer, screenwriter, and speechwriter, partnering with entertainers, athletes, politicians, production studios, and major media platforms. His storytelling approach is shaped by this uncommon crossover: Entertainment teaches how to command attention and earn relevance. Advertising teaches the need to anchor creativity in deep strategy and business outcomes. The result is unified brand work that feels human, resonates in the real world, and drives actual action.
At Campfire, Jon partners directly with founders, leadership teams, and public figures during pivotal moments such as launches, rebrands, and growth inflection points, building the strategic foundation everything else rests on.
When Jon isn’t helping brands speak up and stand out, you can find him with a guitar, playing tennis, trying a new bourbon, and enjoying time outdoors.
